Description

We all love our sports cars, but sometimes there is a lack of space to put your phone that is within reach and drink that is out of the way. This slick design uses specifically curved tangs to slide underneath your center console and provide a discreet location to put your phone and drink. Using the floorboard as support and the tangs as tension, this part is interchangeable between both sides of the car and requires no modifications to install. It is also easily removable.

As much as I like being focused on driving, there are times I need to access my phone or have a drink to carry. The door pocket near the speaker is not ideal as the phone rattles when the base hits. Placing my phone Inside the center console or my pocket is impractical for when I need to access it, and sometimes hard to fit. Leaving on the passenger seat makes the phone a projectile if you get into an accident, or leaves your girlfriend able to go through your text messages :-) . I always felt the suction cup or large phone holders were a bit tacky. As my brain searched to find a solution for the cup and phone, I came up with the idea of RACECARRY, a better way to carry your phone and drink in your sports car.

Some similar items exist on the market for cup holders, but hey do not incorporate the phone holster.This simple solution is made from metal and not 3D printed. Solid materials that will last and be interchangeable on both the driver and passenger side of the car. The cup holder is designed to fit your standard grab and go coffee cup or small thermos, but you can adjust the curvature of the cup holder arms to suit any specific cup needs you might have. The phone holster has been designed to work with the latest I-phone / Samsung / Android with an Otter Box style case.

Fitment was developed around the Porsche 911 and Cayman, but has been tested to work on many BMW platforms as well. Please note some 992 Porsche models such as the Turbo and RS have a higher center console that engages toward the top of the tangs. The cup holder may sit higher up in those models, but can be adjusted down to meet the floor. I will update this application list as we test on more vehicles.
